Why New Zealanders choose Picasso.

01

Among the highest dental costs in the OECD

New Zealand private dental fees are consistently among the highest in the developed world. A single Nobel Biocare implant in Auckland or Wellington can reach NZ$10,000. At Picasso, the full implant (fixture, abutment, crown) costs a fraction of that, and the savings on full-arch cases routinely exceed NZ$25,000 after all travel costs.

02

Same brands your NZ dentist recognises

Nobel Biocare and Straumann are the same systems stocked by leading NZ practices. Full implant serial number documentation on departure. Your NZ dentist can verify the component and handle any warranty claim directly.

03

English throughout, no translation gaps

All consultations, treatment planning and aftercare in English. Records provided in English for seamless handover to your NZ dentist.

04

Recovery time well spent

Da Nang and Hoi An are established destinations for New Zealand travellers. Combine your dental trip with a Vietnam holiday rather than recovering at home between NZ appointments.

★★★★★

"I flew from NZ to get my old crowns and veneers replaced (10 crowns, 6 veneers). Dr Emily and the team were supportive and professional every step of the way. From the care taken during the physical work to the regular check-ins throughout my two weeks in Hanoi, I felt supported and safe. I couldn't be happier with the results."

★★★★★

"Same day implants and much better work than back in New Zealand and a better price. Would definitely be coming back for future work."

★★★★★

"As an international traveller, now based in New Zealand, they remain tops. I have been with Picasso for many years. Things get done, a great staff, enthusiastic professional, always worth the trip."

Common questions.

How many trips do I need for implants?

Most cases require two trips. Trip 1 (3–5 days): implant placement. Trip 2 (2–3 days, 3–6 months later): crown fitting. Both are manageable as standalone trips from New Zealand. All-on-4 with good bone quality may allow a temporary prosthesis on Trip 1.

Will my NZ dentist be able to follow up?

Yes. You leave with X-rays, implant serial numbers, clinical notes in English, and an itemised invoice. Nobel Biocare and Straumann warranties are valid in New Zealand. Your NZ dentist has everything for continuity of care.

Which city is best for New Zealanders?

Many NZ patients fly direct Auckland to HCMC and treat at our Thao Dien branch, or take a domestic connection to Da Nang. Da Nang is the most popular overall: beach access, Hoi An nearby, and direct Sydney connections for those routing through Australia.

What if something goes wrong after I return to NZ?

Contact us via WhatsApp or email. Our team reviews photos and advises within 24 hours. Nobel Biocare and Straumann warranties are valid in New Zealand. For mechanical issues we coordinate replacement components as needed.
